Jelena leads the Sector Development Unit in the development of innovative state-wide workforce capability policy solutions, and oversees the design of Safe and Equal’s workforce strategy.

Drawing on adult learning principles, Ashley maintains, enhances and develops rich and engaging learning programs and designs interactive, social and collaborative online activities.

Jacqui collects and analyses data from various sources to provide meaningful insights that support the family violence sector to advocate for increased resources, improved data systems and a stronger, more sustainable workforce.

Policy Manager

Kate is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of the Policy Team, as well as supporting policy and advocacy activity across the organisation.

Amy supports Safe and Equal’s policy and advocacy work by developing policy positions and submissions, monitoring emerging issues and contributing to advocacy strategies.

Meghan leads a team of Prevention Advisors working on prevention policy, partnerships, evaluation and sector development, including the Partners in Prevention Network.

Prevention Practice Development Advisor

Naomi leads the management of and facilitates a range of primary prevention development activities, including Safe and Equal’s suite of Prevention Communities of Practice.

Hannah Dwyer

Prevention Program and Campaign Advisor

As Prevention Program and Campaign Advisor, Hannah supports the delivery and implementation of programs and campaigns related to prevention sector development.

As Prevention Program Officer, Lina supports the delivery and implementation of all programs related to prevention sector development.

Amelia manages primary prevention practice and workforce development, overseeing a suite of capability development offerings.

In her role as Workforce Development and Training Advisor, Erica leads the strategy, design and development of primary prevention training packages and workshops.

Jaspreet empowers prevention practitioners through impactful training and resource development. She provides project support, contributes to monitoring and evaluation, and fosters online collaboration, strengthening community prevention efforts.

Lucy supports the delivery of capacity building for organisations delivering primary prevention with multicultural and faith-based communities, in partnership with the Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health.

As Communications Manager, Steph leads the design, development and implementation of Safe and Equal’s communications activity.

Melanie plans and coordinates Safe and Equal’s media and communications activities, and leads the day-to-day coordination and support for media engagement.

Pauline’s work focuses on capacity building and supporting and enabling accessible, inclusive, and equitable specialist family violence responses and ways of working.

Finance Manager

As Finance Manager, Julie is responsible for the oversight, management and consolidation of Safe and Equal’s financial systems, processes and infrastructure.

Hayley Williamson

Business Partnerships Manager

As Business Partnerships Manager, Hayley leads the engagement with private sector businesses to improve their processes, procedures and supports for customers and employees experiencing family violence, as well as the employees who support them.

Julia Pledger

Workplace Partnerships and Lived Experience Officer 

Julia assists with project logistics and materials, managing client communications and coordinating external Lived Experience engagements.

As well as managing the governance activities for the organisation, Meg is responsible for driving the organisational development workplan for Safe and Equal.

Claire coordinates the development and delivery of tailored professional development and capability building products and services with a particular focus on private sector settings and workplaces.
