Nesreen Bottriell

Nesreen Bottriell is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the Australian Muslim Women’s Centre for Human Rights, an organisation committed to addressing gender inequality and advocating for the rights of Muslim women and girls in Australia. As a dedicated advocate, Nesreen is committed to social justice and advancing the rights of marginalised women, children and their communities and seeks to foster understanding through meaningful dialogue to address social inequity.

Nesreen has 20 years executive leadership experience within the not for profit, community and international development sectors and has contributed to multiple research publications on Islamophobia & Discrimination and Family Violence. She holds a Master of International and Community Development (MICD), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm, CPA qualified). Nesreen also sits as a Board director on the Respect Victoria board.
