Ultimately, the training supports safer, more consistent, and more responsive practices across the workforce.
What you will learn:
On successful completion of this workshop, participants will be able to apply concepts and practices to effectively determine the predominant aggressor and respond to misidentification.
- Analyse policies, procedures, practice guidance, and tools to assess their alignment with MARAM principles and responsibilities.
- Apply an intersectional approach to policy development to ensure inclusivity, cultural safety, and responsiveness to diverse communities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of policies and workforce development initiatives in embedding evidence-based family violence risk factors and shared understanding.
- Implement improvements to policies and procedures to strengthen alignment with MARAM, considering role responsibilities, risk assessment, and information sharing requirements.
