DETAILS

Strengthen your organisation’s policies and procedures by aligning them with the MARAM Framework.
The purpose of this training is to strengthen participants’ ability to review and improve organisational policies and procedures so they align with the MARAM Framework.

It aims to build confidence in applying an intersectional approach, ensuring inclusivity and cultural safety, and embedding evidence-based understandings of family violence risk.

Ultimately, the training supports safer, more consistent, and more responsive practices across the workforce.

What you will learn:

On successful completion of this workshop, participants will be able to apply concepts and practices to effectively determine the predominant aggressor and respond to misidentification.

  • Analyse policies, procedures, practice guidance, and tools to assess their alignment with MARAM principles and responsibilities.
  • Apply an intersectional approach to policy development to ensure inclusivity, cultural safety, and responsiveness to diverse communities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of policies and workforce development initiatives in embedding evidence-based family violence risk factors and shared understanding.
  • Implement improvements to policies and procedures to strengthen alignment with MARAM, considering role responsibilities, risk assessment, and information sharing requirements.

Who is this for?

This training is designed for non-client facing staff who want to apply and align with the MARAM Framework in their work.

It aims to enhance MARAM literacy and capabilities, providing practical examples on how to integrate MARAM into your policy and project work, as well as support external workforces your department oversees.
