Dale Wakefield has been the CEO of GenWest since 2022. A social worker by trade, Dale has a long history of working in health, disability and family violence sector. For around last 20 years she has lived and worked in Mparntwe Alice Springs with leadership roles in family violence and politics.
GenWest is a family violence support service, that also deliver programs that support communities to lead safe and healthy lives. GenWest supports people based in Melbourne’s west. This includes women, LGBTIQA+ folk, First Nations peoples, people with a disability, migrant and refugee communities, children, young people and older people.
