Jaime has over 20 years’ experience in the community services and local government sectors across a range of fields including service provision, community engagement, advocacy and community planning. With a career that has focused on regional and rural communities, Jaime is passionate about ensuring that the unique and complex challenges facing these communities, and the services that support them, are considered and responded to.

Jaime is currently the CEO of Centre Against Violence (CAV), a not-for-profit community organisation delivering specialist sexual assault and family violence services across the Ovens Murray region of Victoria. CAV leads not just the provision of specialist services across the region, including crisis response, accommodation and therapeutic services, but is committed to early intervention and primary prevention strategies that help change the impact of sexual assault and family violence.

Prior to joining CAV in 2021, Jaime served for more than seven years as Director of Community Wellbeing at the Rural City of Wangaratta. Jaime holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science, Psychology, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Jaime is also a Board Member of the peak body for sexual assault services in Victoria, SASVic.
