Our Fast Track Leadership Foundations program supports new leaders working to prevent or respond to family and gender-based violence, by developing the relational skills and knowledge required to excel in leadership and management roles.
This program is for Victorian practitioners, and is delivered in an online format to support participation of metropolitan, regional and rural leaders. Please join the waitlist to be notified when applications for Round 2 open in 2025.

Who should apply
New leaders with at least 6 months’ experience managing teams, projects or specialist areas. This is a foundational program for either:
- Specialist family violence team leaders, coordinators or managers who have responsibility for managing staff or teams, or
- Primary prevention coordinators, managers and senior project officers who have responsibility for leading projects and/ or managing staff or teams

Cost
While places are valued at $2,500 per person, we are pleased to offer Fast Track Leadership Foundations at the subsidised cost of $350 + GST.
Free places are available on a case-by-case basis with priority for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander practitioners. Please contact the Program Team if fees are a barrier.
Commitment
- Online workshops: 3 hours per week
- Preparation: approximately an additional 2 hours per week to allow for mentoring, reading, reflection activities and preparing your Leadership Development Action Plan.
