Digital Safety, Family Violence and Risk Assessment
DETAILS
Technology-facilitated abuse is a growing issue in Australia. If you work in family violence, you need to understand how perpetrators are using technology, and what you can do in your role to support victim survivors who are experiencing tech-facilitated abuse.
Based on current research, information and family violence risk assessment protocols, this one-day training will help you increase your practice awareness, skills and client safety in this sometimes-overwhelming digital space. You don’t need to be proficient with technology, only passionate about keeping women and their children safe.

- This training was so relevant! I always found tech safety overwhelming and confusing – now I understand what ‘safe’ access looks like in the home and how to include technology in risk assessment.
- Great training, lots of good information and resources to bring back to the organisation that I work for.
- Facilitators were really approachable and great at explaining the topics.
- I really appreciated how the trainers emphasised the importance of the integration of the topic into workplace processes such as intake and assessment.
