Learning Outcomes:
- Understand the purpose and function of case notes
- Develop the ability to document information in a way that keeps perpetrator’s in view and accountable
- Understand the principles of how to write case notes with a family violence lens
- Develop the ability to document family violence risk, information sharing and responses to victim/survivors
- Understand how to read and respond to a subpoena, additionally the process and requirements of appearing as a witness in court
- Understand the concept of legal professional privilege in the context of case noting practices and sharing information to third parties
