Melissa supports the design, delivery and tailoring of Safe and Equal’s prevention training program and workforce development activities, such as training engagements, workshops, communities of practice and resource development.

Melissa is a sexologist with experience in sexual and reproductive health promotion and the primary prevention of family and gender-based violence, particularly for people with disabilities. She is committed to advancing disability inclusion, promoting equitable access to health information and supporting cultures of safety, respect and equality.

Everyone deserves to live a life free from violence, where they feel safe, respected and have the freedom to make choices about their own lives. I’m motivated by the opportunity to challenge the inequalities that enable violence and contribute to creating a more equitable and inclusive world for future generations.
