Lee leads a program of work focused on supporting prevention campaigns and organisations provided with small funding through the 16 Days of Activism Grassroots Initiative, to deliver local prevention campaign activities during the 16 Days of Activism. Lee’s role focuses on external engagement with the Primary Prevention sector, overseeing the Partners in Prevention Network, designing and delivering an annual program of sector facing events, advocacy, communities of practice, and developing partnerships.
Lee brings a range of experience from corporate, non-profit and local government sectors. Her previous role was focused on building capacity and embedding a gendered approach in all areas of local government service delivery (including policy development and community education) to support the prevention of violence. With qualifications in law and criminology, she is a seasoned writer, facilitator and communicator with a passion for social justice and equality.
Lee’s lived experience of violence and ever evolving learning journey with intersectional feminism has motivated her to carve out space for others who also feel motivated by injustice to drive meaningful change.

When we know more, we can (and should) do better – even if it means being a little rebellious. There is no ceiling when it comes to learning. Change must be dynamic, continuous and responsive to evolving needs.
