Steph Jones

In her role as Policy and Advocacy Advisor, Amy supports Safe and Equal’s policy and advocacy work by developing policy positions and submissions, monitoring emerging issues and contributing to advocacy strategies. 

Amy is a skilled researcher and project manager with six years’ experience conducting research across gender equality, health and mental health. She specialises in mixed-methods research and is committed to centring lived experience.

Prior to joining Safe and Equal, Amy was a Research Officer at the Australian Centre for Gender Equality and Inclusion @ Work, and most recently contributed to the Working for Women Research Program funded through the Office for Women in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
