In her role as the Prevention Practice Advisor for the Connecting Communities program, Lucy supports the delivery of capacity building for organisations delivering primary prevention with multicultural and faith-based communities, in partnership with the Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health. Lucy is committed to centring the expertise of this highly skilled workforce and advocating for community-led primary prevention work.
Lucy’s previous experience includes working at Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre as a Crisis Support Worker, and interning at Gender Equity Victoria as part of her Masters of Public Policy and Management.
Connecting Communities practitioners are leading the way with intersectional, community-led prevention work. It’s a joy to uplift and share their wisdom across the sector.
