down arrow

This video tells the story of a partnership between Djirra, Elizabeth Morgan House and Safe and Equal.

This video is shared to contribute to the growing evidence base on equitable partnership approaches between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal organisations, with the hope that it may inform future partnership practices across the family violence sector.

Djirra and Safe and Equal established a strategic partnership in 2022 with the aim to support mutual capability building and to improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people experiencing family violence. In 2025, Elizabeth Morgan House Aboriginal Women’s Services joined the partnership.

Through this video, hear from Skye Gooch (Djirra), Kalimna Forde (Elizabeth Morgan House), Lisa Levis (Safe and Equal) and Anna Wark (Djirra) on taking a partnership approach to create conditions for equitable relationships.
