Working within the Communications Team, Madeline helps to ensure campaigns, resources and information reach the right audience, with the right content, at the right time. She coordinates marketing, communications and engagement activities to support Safe and Equal’s strategic priorities and communications objectives. Madeline’s main goal, in collaboration with the Communications Team, is to craft and deliver messages that will shift hearts and minds.
Madeline is a digital communications specialist with an associate degree in Professional Writing and Editing and nearly ten years’ experience in communications across the literary, feminist and not-for-profit sectors. She was previously the Marketing and Programming Manager at Kill Your Darlings and is the former Editor of Rosie at the Victorian Women’s Trust.

I believe strongly in Safe and Equal’s mission to end family and gender-based violence and create a world where everyone is safe, respected and thriving. Through powerful messaging and communications, I hope to help change the narrative around family violence and to value, support and empower victim survivors.
