Helena works closely with the policy team and her colleagues across the organisation to provide policy advice, and hold space for members and staff to speak openly and collaboratively on the domestic and family violence sector.

Helena holds a Master of Public Policy as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Global Studies. She has worked across a range of areas including impact investing, consultancy, financial empowerment, gender-based violence, refugee family services and affordable housing. Helena also sits on the boards of The Pink Belt Project and Women with Disabilities Victoria. Passionate about equity and inclusion, Helena is currently studying AUSLAN.

Helena lives and works on unceded Wurundjeri land and pays respect to elders past and present.

Every individual has the right to a life free from violence and gender norms. I am passionate about implementing the changes that victim survivors and marginalised communities identify as necessary, to achieve a free and equal society.
